Cushman & Wakefield stylishly relocates
Cushman & Wakefield - a real estate services international leader - finally has a new Bratislava head office after a decade: the award-winning Pribinova 40 from the leading Slovak developer JTRE. Located on the fourteenth floor and covering 400sqm, the attractive HQ is a contemporary and sustainable workplace.
The stylish interior design is informed by the underdesign concept, which aims to do away with distracting colours and features to enable employees to fully focus. Lead architect Eliška Košová’s inspirational soft minimalism is reflected throughout the workplace, emphasising functionality and comfort. The subtle tonal colour palette and minimalist lines seamlessly combine with natural materials to create a cosy environment that supports focus and creativity, while an elegant harmony of white, grey and wood tones contributes to a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. This impressively demonstrates that a minimalist approach can be both eye-catching and thought-provoking.
The office design embraces the latest technologies to ensure smooth and efficient workflow, teamwork and communications. The layouts are framed by panoramic windows with expansive and inspirational views of the Danube and Bratislava skyline. Meeting rooms (named after surrounding viewpoints) have an organic embrace with the urban environment to deliver a harmonious and positive workspace.
The latest workplace developments and thinking are reflected throughout Cushman & Wakefield’s new head office. For example, the area includes 150+sqm of collaboration zones and meeting rooms - for employees and clients - which are gradually replacing the former trend for rather frenetic open-plan layouts. A wide range of flexible spaces allows employees to choose the ideal place for their needs: private, collaboration, or chill-out zone.
This office’s shared space outlook promotes a clean desk policy to enable a flexible hotdesking approach, including the managing partner. Workplaces are fluid and randomly selected, and employees store personal belongings in lockers rather than desktops.
